ABOUT US

The May Court Club of Brockville, a registered charitable organization, is a diverse and dedicated group of women who actively volunteer their time by providing both service and financial assistance to those in need. Beginning with a membership of 29, in 1959, and a project to help start a new senior citizens' club, the May Court Club of Brockville has grown to more than 140 members, achieved a significant number of service undertakings, and contributed more than $1,000,000 to our community. Funds are raised principally through the May Court Thrift Shop as well as various fund raising events held throughout the year.

OUR MISSION The May Court Club of Brockville is a women's service organization committed to enriching our community by providing financial and volunteer support to individuals and organizations.
	OUR VISION The May Court Club of Brockville, through the provision of financial and volunteer support, will enhance the lives of members of our community. Through funds raised from the operation of our Thrift Shop and other activities, we will provide financial support to individuals and organizations in need within the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF MAY COURT

Founded in 1898 in Ottawa by Lady Ishbel Aberdeen, wife of the then Governor-General of Canada, May Court is the oldest service club in Canada and has grown to a membership of over 1,500 volunteer women in nine cities located across Ontario.
